IAHR Global Water Issue Committee
Objective
SCGWI is part of the Innovation and Professional Development (IPD) Division of IAHR - a focal point of coordination in IAHR to integrate capacities and potentials of our Association for global water issues. Global water issues on sustainability of our society extend to every phase of our life and amounts to huge numbers. For instance, IAHR has knowledge base on coastal zone management, river restoration, renewable energy, and so on. But for the time being SCGWI will focus its activities on flood and risk management in terrestrial water areas.
