The Institute of Civil Engineering at Universidad Austral de Chile invites applications for one full-time position at Campus Miraflores. The Institute of Civil Engineering is part of the Faculty of Engineering with about 150 professors and over 2200 students. Others institutes are Informatics, Mechanics, Electricty and Electronics, Naval, and Acoustics. Position Description: We are looking for a full-time academic to develop activities in the area of Hydraulic Engineering or other area of Civil Engineering. He or she will do pre and postgraduate teaching, develop theoretical and applied research in the field of his or her specialty.

Required Qualifications: Civil Engineer with PhD degree, with experience in teaching in Higher Education, participation in research projects, an advanced level of English language, interest in multidisciplinary applied research, innovation, collaboration with companies and technology transfer.
