This month's focus: Water security

Global water security remains one of the biggest challenges facing humanity, alongside climate change and pandemic management. On a global scale, water is a critical shared resource that authorities must understand in order to enable economic growth, social health, and environmental sustainability.

Water security is a cross-cutting issue. It concerns public health, economic growth, environmental sustainability, disaster risk reduction, and much more. Improving water security allows us to deal with the complex and interconnected challenges our societies must face every day.
Join IAHR and become part of one of the biggest cross-sectoral communities of scientists, experts, and practitioners working together to improve water security.
The Business of Global Water Security: linking knowledge to practice
The IAHR working group on Global Water Security is organizing a series of webinars focusing on this crucial issue. The first webinar will be held on 10 September and will address the high-level business challenges and opportunities of global water security, linking the knowledge of the hydro-environmental community with the practitioners who face the challenges of addressing global water security. Join the webinar
