International Journal of River Basin Management | Vol. 19. Issue 4, 2021

The Journal of River Basin Management (JRBM) plays a specific role in promoting a cross-sectorial approach encompassing all aspects of river and floodplain management, with a truly global perspective. The Journal is a response by the scientific and professional community to the World Water Vision and calls for an integrated approach to water resources management.

Overview

International Journal of River Basin Management | Vol. 19. Issue 4, 2021The publication of Issue 4 concludes Volume 19 of JRBM. Once again the themes explored in this issue illustrate the broad scope of River Basin Management. Topics discussed include the influence of climate change on streamflows, the use of 2D models to develop rating curves for gauging streamflows, trend analysis to detect abrupt changes in streamflows, and prediction of streamflows using models. In addition to these streamflow issues, sediment in rivers, channels, and storage reservoirs is also discussed. The breadth of topics together with papers being sourced from many regions of the world continues to highlight the relevance of JRBM to the science and practice of river basin management.
