The IAHR Kabul YPN is the first initiative of the hydro-environment community of young researchers in Afghanistan, which is a collaboration of young academic members of universities, students, researchers, and young professionals in the country. The IAHR Kabul YPN is looking forward to fostering highly competent professionals who will contribute to different disciplines, decision-making, and policies in the field of hydro-environment in Afghanistan.

The IAHR Kabul YPN aims to create a national collaboration network for the hydro-environment that will unite the scattered young talents of Afghanistan, give visibility to events, scholarships, and research activities, provide a platform for the exchange of ideas among the members of  the hydro-environment community, and organise and disseminate talks, interviews, and webinars at both the national and international level (with other YPNs) in the field of hydro-environment engineering and research.
