Nomination
Six months prior to the scheduled International Symposium on Ecohydraulics, the Chair will request confidential nominations from the members of the IAHR technical committee (TC) on Ecohydraulics to be sent to the TC Leadership Team. Each nomination must include a one page justification stating why the nominee should be considered for the distinction.
Selection procedure
The Ecohydraulics Leadership Team (Chair, Secretary, and Past Chair) will review the nominations and make their selection. The selection must be unanimous. In the event that no formal nominations are received, the Leadership Team will, at their discretion, select the conferree.
When and where will the conferree be announced?
The distinction is given by the Ecohydraulics TC Chair at the International Symposium on Ecohydraulics.
What does the distinction consist of?
The distinction includes a plaque commemorating designation as an Honorary Fellow of the IAHR technical commitee on Ecohydraulics.
