The International Journal of River Basin Management is an international and cross-disciplinary Journal that brings together research dedicated to all aspects of integrated river and floodplain management including catchments, wetlands and estuarine systems.
To further assist the Journal's development and the current Editorial Board, we are seeking new Associate Editors (AEs) with expertise in the following areas:
Water quality
Socio-hydrology
Urban hydrology
Groundwater
Terms and responsibilities for the role of AE:
AE appointment is for 2 years, renewable under mutual agreement
AE solicits the submission of high-quality contributions to the journal, commissioning papers and contributing with innovative manuscripts
AE handles the independent peer review and make publication recommendations
AE promotes the journal through academic networks
AE participates in discussions involving journal policies and wider journal strategy
Generally, candidates should be renowned scientists in the respective area/s (early career scholars may be considered in exceptional cases) and have a record of academic excellence corresponding to their academic career level.
AEs should also reflect diversity in terms of their interest areas, gender, ethnicity, national origin, and career stage.
