André St-Hilaire is a professor at INRS (French acronym for National Institute of Scientific Research), which is a graduate school in the University of Québec network. He specializes in ecohydrology and physical habitat modelling, with a specific interest on the impact of changes river temperature and sediments on fish habitat. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Rivers Institute and co-editor of the Canadian Water Resources Journal. He is co-chairing the Ecohydraulics-Fish Passage conference to be held in Québec City in May 2024.
