Welcome to the recently created IAHR Young Professionals Network in Chile!

Under the guidance of José M. Adriasola, who leads the Geotechnical and Hydraulic Engineering Services (G&HES) group dedicated to the Mining and Metals business in Bechtel Corporation, a group of young professional engineers has just created the IAHR Chile Young Professionals Network (YPN).  

The Chilean network adds to the 20 already existing networks in Latin America and aims to foster a community of young professionals and students in environmental and hydraulic engineering. YPN-Chile will promote its participation in IAHR projects and events and will organize activities to help students connect to the working world and create relationships and networks. Their goal is to encourage collaboration and address issues of social interest.  

YPN-Chile will organize a webinar in the next few weeks to present its objectives and activities. They are part of the new Young Professionals Network working group in Latin-America which will hold its first meeting on 6 June. Join the IAHR Latin-America YPN working group!
