The 24th IAHR-APD Congress will be held in Wuhan, China from October 14-17, 2024.

The Early Bird registration discount ends on June 30. The deadline for submission of proposals for side events and special sessions has been extended to July 31. We welcome experts and scholars from government agencies, non-governmental organizations, international organizations, key water management agencies, research institutions, enterprises and private sectors to participate actively.

The IAHR-APD Congress serves as a prominent platform for water science and technology exchange in the Asia Pacific region. The 24th IAHR-APD Congress, themed “Water for a Changing Future”, focuses on issues and challenges in water security, water environment, water resources, and aquatic ecosystems under changing environmental conditions, and aims to explore innovations in water governance and technology innovation.

1. Early Bird Registration

2. Call for Special Sessions and Side Meetings Extended

Up until now, 12 domestic and international organizations have submitted applications for 14 special sessions and side events. In response to the requirements, the deadline for submitting proposals for special sessions and side events has been extended to July 31, 2024.

Special sessions are proposed by the hosting entities under the framework of congress themes and sub-themes. These sessions can be hosted independently by a single entity or jointly by multiple entities who have the autonomy to choose the session format and arrange specific agendas.

Side events are organized by relevant entities during the congress period. The themes of side events should align with the congress objectives and aim to achieve the congress goals.
