The Congress welcomed over 150 participants from 26 countries (across all continents!) and covered a packed program with 114 oral and 15 poster presentations.
The awards for the best student presentations went to Stan Thorez (winner) and Yee Lam Elim Hui (runner-up).
Keynotes included Prof Harindra Joseph Fernando, Dr Ellis Penning and Prof Stephen Monismith presentations on Sensing Hydrometeorological Processes from Global to Microphysical Scales, The role of ecosystem understanding in quantifying solutions for water management and Flow through and over living roughness, respectively.

The 11th International Symposium on Environmental Hydraulics will be held at the University of Iowa from 1- 4 June 2027, hosted by Prof George Constantinescu.
