The 10th International Symposium on Environmental Hydraulics (ISEH2024) organised by the IAHR Technical Committee on Fluid Mechanics and the University of Aberdeen took place in Aberdeen, Scotland from 25 to 27 June 2024. The event was chaired by Dr. Dominic Van der A.

The Congress welcomed over 150 participants from 26 countries (across all continents!) and covered a packed program with 114 oral and 15 poster presentations.

The awards for the best student presentations went to Stan Thorez (winner) and Yee Lam Elim Hui (runner-up).

Keynotes included Prof Harindra Joseph Fernando, Dr Ellis Penning and Prof Stephen Monismith presentations on Sensing Hydrometeorological Processes from Global to Microphysical ScalesThe role of ecosystem understanding in quantifying solutions for water management and Flow through and over living roughness, respectively.

The 11th International Symposium on Environmental Hydraulics will be held at the University of Iowa from 1- 4 June 2027, hosted by Prof George Constantinescu.
