The Journal of Applied Water Engineering and Research (JAWER) publishes papers and practical case studies on all aspects of hydro-environment engineering and research. JAWER welcomes applications related to integrated water resources management and hydro-policy and aims for international dissemination of innovative methods that will specifically showcase studies on interfacing technology-based solutions within the hydro-environment and their ecological value and services.

Overview
Issue 2 of JAWER, following the philosophy of JAWER, combines papers from several different water-related fields, highlighting the diversity of topics that are present in this Journal. The two first papers are related to hydrology, to estimate missing data in the Nile River and applying different methodologies to improve evapotranspiration estimation in India. There are two papers related to hydraulic processes as, determining water losses and the determination of the Steady flow at a breached levee. There is one paper about how low-costly measure groundwater flow to surface waters in lakes. One is about the effect of dams on floods and one about water management and water allocation. Finally, the last paper is related to river bank erosion in India.
