The 10th International Conference on Physical Modelling in Coastal Engineering and Science (CoastLab2026) will take place from 23 to 27 February 2026 in Chennai, India, hosted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras and the IAHR Technical Committee on Coastal and Maritime Hydraulics.

The event will bring together researchers, engineers, and industry professionals to discuss advancements in physical modeling for coastal and maritime applications.

IIT Madras has an 11,500 square metre hydrodynamic laboratory on the main campus. The Discovery campus has a 60 m x 95 m wave basin with a maximum depth of 1 metre. It is therefore the appropriate venue for the leading conference, Coastlab.
