Over the past  year, JHR has achieved significant reductions in key production metrics:

  • Submission to first decision: now  41 days, allowing authors to receive initial feedback in over half the time (previously 90 days).

  • Submission to final decision: Now it is 49 days, and it was 101 which means that it is being reduced again by over 50%.

The production speed from acceptance to online publication has also been reduced by approximately 10 days on average.

These achievements reaffirm the Journal of Hydraulic Research as one of the best in academic publishing, combining efficiency with academic rigor to meet the needs of researchers worldwide. The journal’s robust review process and rapid publication times underscore its role as a pivotal platform for advancing hydraulic research.
