Water security, the adaptive capacity to safeguard the sustainable availability of, access to, and safe use of an adequate, reliable, and resilient quantity and quality of water for health, livelihoods, ecosystems, and productive economies, is at the core of sustainable development. The 2021 IAHR Online Forum will focus on the challenges and trends of hydro-environmental solutions and research and will include key plenaries and technical sessions that cover a range of topics essential to water security.
The Online Forum caters especially for engineers, experts, researchers, and organisations. The Forum is a premier reference for all who are interested in quickly understanding the state of play of the global hydro-environment engineering and research community. IAHR's wide range of Technical Committees and Working Groups will make special contributions to highlight the issues and directions in their respective fields.
