Last week, members of the IAHR World Congress organising committee travelled to Granada to meet with Congress partners and supporte, discussing exciting ideas and initiatives to facilitate a fulfilling and memorable experience for conference delegates.

We met with Mayor of the City, Francisco Cuensa; Dean of University of Granada, Pilar Aranda Ramírez; Junta de Andalucía and Turismo Granada among others. All are excited to host leading experts in water, water science, engineering and water management and we thank them all for their gracious hospitality during our visit.

While in Granada, we also inspected the Congress venue Palacio de Congresos de Granada to familiarise ourselves with the space. We were impressed by the functional, modern spaces and convenient, picturesque location near the Rio Genil.
