IAHR Membership Renewal for 2020

We hope you have enjoyed your IAHR membership during this past year. Your fellow IAHR members are grateful for your participation in our worldwide community of hydro-environment engineers and researchers. Now we would like to invite you to renew your membership. Membership for 2020 remains the same cost as for 2019. Benchmarking surveys with other professional associations show that IAHR membership continues to be good value for money – the high rate of IAHR membership renewal confirms this.  Please find more details on membership here.

We encourage you to make the most of the benefits that your membership offers. For example, IAHR events are scheduled to take place in over 15 countries throughout the world during 2020 -  including IAHR regional congresses in Sapporo, Japan; Warsaw, Poland; and Acapulco, Mexico. IAHR members receive discounts on the registration fees for all these events.

Further, in 2020, IAHR members will receive printed copies of our popular quarterly magazine Hydrolink, which brings you short, easily read articles about specific innovative themes from the world of hydro-environment engineering and research. You will also receive Hydrolink in PDF form and as a "page flip" version for tablets and smart phones.

Also, you will benefit from access to cutting-edge technical papers in IAHR's esteemed journals: the Journal of Hydraulic Research (which will increase to 148 pages more in 2020 and latest impact factor reached 2.974!), the practice-oriented Journal of Applied Water Engineering and Research, Ribagua, Journal of Hydro-Environment Research, the Journal of Ecohydraulics, and the Journal of River Basin Management. As an IAHR member, you can submit manuscripts for papers to Water Science and Engineering and not be subject to author charges. Additionally, you will have ready access to the white papers and congress proceedings important discounts on books that IAHR publishes with the aid of Taylor & Francis.

I kindly invite you to contact Ms. Sally Feng (membership@iahr.org), our IAHR Memberships Officer if you have any questions about membership.

With the recently renewed leadership following the IAHR elections in September 2019 and a forthcoming new four-year strategy 2020-2023, exciting times are ahead. The IAHR secretariat looks forward to supporting this collective journey with you towards a bright and fruitful 2020.
