Coastlab2020 Postponed by 3-4 Months for Coronavirus Concern, Deadlines Extended

Dear Conference Participants,

As of now, all Coastlab2020 preparations, such as abstract/manuscript submission and review process, registrations, conference program and proceedings draft, have been progressing on schedule as normal. However, due to the current Coronavirus situation in China and worldwide, as a precaution and for practical travel reasons, please be advised that Coastlab2020 has to be postponed.

“WHO has already declared a public health emergency of international concern – our highest level of alarm”, as alerted in the WHO Director-General's opening remarks on 26 Feb. 2020, “this virus has pandemic potential and WHO is providing the tools for every country to prepare accordingly”.

Therefore, the Zhoushan conference shall be postponed from May 25-29 to about 3-4 months later. The exact dates of the conference will be carefully selected and then announced ASAP, not later than 1st May, 2020.

So far, Coastlab2020 has received 273 abstracts. To better prepare the conference, the organizing committee also decided to extend the deadlines for abstract/full paper submission, registration for two months accordingly. The online submission system will be open during the extension.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and update the conference status soon. If you have any question or requirement, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you very much!

Yours sincerely
