About

Xiaohui Lei was born in 1974. He received the Doctoral degree in water environment restoration from the University of Tsukuba, Tsukuba, Japan, in 2007.,He currently works in the Water Resources Department of the China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research as a Professorate Senior Engineer and the Director of water resources regulation office. He has long engaged in the operation and hydraulic control of water conservancy projects. As the principal investigator of several renowned research funding, he has made substantial contributions to both theory and practice of operation and regulation of water conservancy projects, including uncertainty of hydrological forecasting, curse of dimensionality and multiobjectives of water resource scheduling, nonlinearity and strong coupling of hydraulic control.
