Li Yiping has been engaged in watershed hydrology water ecology mutual feedback mechanism and water environment treatment technology for a long time. He has been employed as distinguished professor in University of North Carolina, University of Alabama and University of Windsor in Canada. In recent five years, he has presided over five projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China (including one Key Program), 108 high-quality academic papers have been published, with a total of 1376 citations. 10 authorized invention patents, 52 software copyrights, and 6 patent achievements conversion have also been authorized. He has won more than 10 academic awards, such as Baosteel education outstanding teacher award (1/1), IBM Global Shared University Research Award (1/5).
