An environmental engineer, Marco brings a 31-year track record working across the oil and gas, chemicals and the energy transition industry, primarily in emerging and frontier markets. Since 2011, Marco has acted as a Senior Advisor to leading Italian group Pietro Fiorentini S.p.A. in the areas of energy source diversification, power generation and oil & gas processing. He has also completed a number of assignments for Maire Tecnimont companies and for Johnson Controls Italia. Marco holds a bachelor's and master's degrees in environmental engineering from Università degli Studi di Roma 'La Sapienza' and a masters degree from LUISS Guido Carli University in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law & Management. He pursued additional training at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
