Dr. Panayotis C. Yannopoulos is Professor Emeritus of the University of Patras, Greece. He was a full-time Professor and Director of the Environmental Engineering Laboratory of the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Patras, Greece, up to 31st of August 2020, as well as Coordinator of the University Network “HYDROCRITES” up to 2021. He is a member of the IAHR. He has over 33 years of experience in the area of environmental engineering and hydraulics and especially in buoyant jet flows in water bodies and atmosphere (diffusion and dispersion of pollutant emissions).
