Sameh A. Kantoush is Associate Professor at Disaster Prevention Research Institute (DPRI), Kyoto University, Japan. He received his PhD. in civil and environmental engineering at the Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland. His research interests span the fundamentals of shallow flow and sediment transport, Wadi flash floods, sustainability in reservoirs, and transboundary rivers.
