About

I am currently a Professor and the Head of the Department of Ecological Engineering at the School of Environment at Beijing Normal University, China. I obtained my PhD from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and worked in Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology as Postdoctoral Associate before joining the BNU faculty. My research is primarily focused on hydro-/morpho-dynamics and vegetation dynamics of coastal wetlands and pollutant transport in coastal waters.
