About
Clelia Luisa Marti is a visiting professor at the Sustainable Engineering Group at Curtin University (Perth, Australia). She has held positions at the Facultad de Ingeniería y Ciencias Hídricas, Universidad Nacional del Litoral (Argentina), Centre for Water Research, University of Western Australia (Australia) and College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, University of Vermont (USA). She has over 25 years of academic and professional experience in a wide range of both environmental and water resources engineering applications in surface water systems (SWS) (i.e., rivers, lakes, reservoirs, wetlands, estuaries and coastal marine waters). Her main research is focused on improving the scientific understanding of transport and mixing processes in SWS and the interplay between these processes and the biogeochemistry of the environment using high-level process fieldwork and data analysis, numerical modelling and mathematical scaling.
