Arianna Varrani is research assistant at the Institute of Geophysics, Polish Academy of Sciences. She obtain her BSc. in Civil Engineering at the University of Padua, and her MSc in the European joint program EuroAquae+. Her research foci are on sediment transport and geomorphology of large and medium-sized rivers and transport of microplastics in freshwater environments.
