Dr. Sandra Ricart (F) is currently a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action post-doctoral researcher at the Environmental Intelligence for Global Change Lab (Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering) at Politecnico d Milano (Italy). She received her bachelor’s in Geography and master’s degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Girona, and a Ph.D. in Experimental Sciences and Sustainability at the same institution. Her research interests include the management of water resources in socio-ecological systems and the perception of climate change impacts and adaptation measures through stakeholder analysis and social-learning approaches. Sandra co-authored more than 60 publications in international journals, books and chapter books, and conference proceedings, and she participated in 8 international/national research projects, while collaborating with the universities of Barcelona and Alicante (ES) and the Wageningen University & Research (NL). She carried out research stays in Spain, France, Italy and the Netherlands. She is member of the Interuniversity Institute of Geography at the University of Alicante as professor of the Master in Planning and management of natural risks and of the MOOC Geographical analysis of natural risk: Perceiving, planning and managing uncertainty, which she also coordinates.
