Doctor of Engineering. Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at College of Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering of Hohai University. Visiting scholar of The University of Hong Kong(2004), Nanyang Technological University(2005), University of Cambridge(2010) and University of Maryland(2017).Long been engaged in basic and applied research on river sediment engineering and environmental sedimentology. Hosted or participated in more than 50 key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, general projects, national 863 projects, Ministry of Water Resources 948 projects, National Eleventh Five-Year Science and Technology Support Plan, Ministry of Education New Teacher Fund, provincial and ministerial science and technology projects, and key engineering research projects. Published more than 60 papers, including 5 in SCI, 14 in EI, 1 publication; 5 invention patents, 6 utility model patents, 3 software copyrights, and 8 national, provincial and ministerial scientific and technological awards. Member of the Hydrology and Sediment Special Committee of the Chinese Society of Hydropower, Youth Member of the Sediment Special Committee of the Chinese Society of Hydraulic Engineering, member of the Special Committee of Water Conservancy Measurement Technology, Peer Review Expert of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, member of the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research.
