About

I'm a hydro-engineer specialised in fluvial hydraulics, wetland management and -reconstruction. Particularly interested in hydrological and environmental monitoring systems, their design and operation. I am teaching in higher education since 2001, currently as a professor. I have extensive experience in the multi-disciplinary research of the river Danube and its floodplains. My particular goal is to enhance and promote engineer-ecologist interactions in education, decision making and design. I am devoted to internationalisation, integration and borderless approach.
