Dr. Leicheng GUO is a research professor in State Key Lab of Estuary and Coastal Research, East China Normal University (ECNU). He got a bachelor degree in river engineering from Wuhan University in 2007 and a Ph.D in coastal engineering from Delft University Technology and UNESCO-IHE in 2014. He was a post-doc researcher in ECNU and University of California Irvine during 2015 and 2018, and then promoted research associate professor and professor. His research focuses on large-scale estuarine and deltaic morphodynamic evolution and its adaption in response to forcing changes like sea-level rise, human activities, and fluvial sediment load decline, using long-term hydro-morphodynamic models. Dr. Guo has authored over 70 journal publications.
