Panagiotis Dimas is a Civil Engineer (NTUA), holding a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in Hydrology from ETH Zürich. He is currently a PhD candidate in the Department of Water Resources and Environmental Engineering of the School of Civil Engineering, NTUA. He has multiple years of both industry and research experience in the design and modelling of medium to large-scale civil engineering projects. His main fields of expertise include: flood resilience, rainfall-runoff modeling, irrigation schemes, roadway drainage, wastewater sewage & water distribution networks modelling, geospatial applications, development of design automation applications. He is a Chartered Engineer in Greek Technical Chamber, Member of Greek Committee on Large Dams (GCOLD), Member of Greek Hydraulic Works Designers Association, Member of Hellenic Association of Civil Engineers, Member of International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR) and Member of IAHR Hellenic Young Professionals Network. His current research interests are focused on asset management of complex water systems.
