SwAM is a national government agency with overall responsibility for the implementation of freshwater-, ocean- and fisheries management from source-to-sea. He has 30 years of global experience working with freshwater and ocean management issues from the World Bank, the Global Environment Facility Scientific and Technical Panel (STAP) and Sida including applied research, policy and management experience at the Stockholm Environment Institute and the Stockholm International Water Management Institute. Dr Granit was appointed Chair of the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR) for a two years period in 2020.
