* This profile page is created/updated for the 1st IAHR Online Forum (July 5-7, 2021) * Fatimatou Sall holds a unique doctorate in Geography, specializing in ecosystems and environment. She is a member of the LEIDI Laboratory: Dynamics of Territories and Development at the Gaston Berger University of Saint-Louis, where she is active in the Geography section and in the research group on the Governance of Water Territories. Her research work revolves around the triptych Water-City-Environment. She is the author of several scientific papers and articles on the concepts of vulnerability, resilience and governance in relation to water and environmental issues in the context of climate change. She benefits from the experience of several programmes and projects in the framework of research activities and expertise with NGOs and consultancies. Very active in citizen movements, she is President of the Young Water and Sanitation Professionals Association of Senegal (AJPEAS). In the context of the organisation of the 9th World Water Forum, she represents young people on the international steering committee.
