About

Ángel Villanueva is a Civil Engineer, specialised in hydraulics and structures. He has 29 years of professional career in planning, project, execution and exploitation of hydraulic infrastructures, with particular emphasis on the field of urban drainage. He was the former chief of the Projects & Planning Department in the Barcelona sewerage Company. At present he is the Director of Resilience and Climate Change in Suez Spain. He also chairs Commission 4 - Urban Drainage of the Spanish Water and Wastewater Association (AEAS).
