* This profile page is created/updated for the 1st IAHR Online Forum (July 5-7, 2021) * Clara Prats, holds a degree in Physics from the University of Barcelona and a PhD in Applied Physics and Simulation in Science by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). She is currently a permanent associate professor at the UPC. Researcher in the group of Computational Biology and Complex Systems at the UPC, and responsible for computational models at the Center of Comparative Medicine and Bioimaging of the Germans Trias i Pujol Institute for Research in Health Sciences (IGTP). Her line of research focuses on the use of computer modeling for the study of infectious diseases, mainly tuberculosis, but also malaria, Chagas disease and, last year, Covid-19.
