* This profile page is created/updated for the 1st IAHR Online Forum (July 5-7, 2021) * In 2020, Mark took the role of Head of Sustainability and Climate Change, having led the Environmental Science and Regulation team for Scottish Water for the previous 10 years. Mark has also held roles in Business Strategy and Climate Change for Scottish Water. Between 2008 and 2019 he led the UK Water Industry’s research programme into carbon and climate change, delivering projects developing tools for water research and asset planning and to guide the industry on climate change, carbon and sustainability. Mark’s current focus is the development of Scottish Water’s net zero emissions plan, and to put in place the steps to deliver net zero. Mark has a background in marine biology and chemical ecology
