* This profile page is created/updated for the 1st IAHR Online Forum (July 5-7, 2021)* Seung Beom SEO is an assistant professor in International School of Urban Sciences at University of Seoul, where he has been since 2020. From 2019 to 2020, he served as research fellow at Korea Environment Institute. During 2017-2019 he was a post-doctoral scholar at Seoul National University. He received his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University, USA, in 2016. He received a M.S. from Seoul National University, Korea Republic, in 2011. After he received a B.S. from Dongguk University, Korea Republic, in 2007, he worked at Daewoo Engineering and Construction Corp. as a civil engineer from 2007 to 2009. His research interests span both water resources planning and climate change adaptation. Prof. SEO is also interested in water resources policies and environmental assessment in developing countries. He published one book chapter and more than 20 papers in scientific journals such as Journal of hydrology, Climate Dynamics, Journal of Water Resources planning and Management, etc.
