China Agricultural University
Associate Professor
About
Dr. Yuncheng Xu is now an associate professor in the College of Water Resources and Civil Engineering at China Agricultural University. He got his Ph.D. at the Pennsylvania State University in 2019, with thesis title as Three-dimensional Numerical Modelling of Hydrodynamics and Morphodynamics around In-stream Structures. He then joined China Agricultural University as a lecturer in 2019. Dr. Xu’s current research interests focus on spatial temporal interaction between biological (animal/plant) structures and hydrodynamics environment. He is specialized in developing and utilizing high-resolution numerical technique (OpenFOAM) to solve problems including hydrodynamics around Golden Mussels, bio-fueling in water-transfer projects, canopy interception in spraying irrigation and so forth.
