Over the past 20 years, Rick has worked on a wide variety of international projects and is a recognized specialist in water resources management, climate change adaptation, flood risk management and the water-energy nexus. He first joined UNESCO's World Water Assessment Programme in 2007 as a chapter facilitator and author for the 2009 WWDR. Rick holds an M.Sc. in Biogeochemistry from McGill University
