About

After academic studies in the fields of aeronautical engineering, maritime engineering and physical oceanography, John Wendelbo joined Flow Science in 2013 to work on modeling free surface flows in the water civil infrastructure application area. During this time John has worked to further the use of CFD within the industry engineering practice, and has developed extensive training and workshop materials to help engineers quickly onboard the skills necessary to develop CFD models for their applications. In addition to free surface hydraulic modeling, John's interests have extended over the years to include topics of air entrainment, scour, and non-Newtonian flows and thermal plume modeling. John's current area of interest is centered around processes in and around wastewater treatment facilities. John currently serves as Director of Sales for Flow Science.
