Naicheng Wu is a full professor at Ningbo University, China. He got his PhD in ecohydrology from Kiel University in 2012. He was awarded Humboldt Fellow for Experienced Researcher (2019), Marie-Curie Fellowship (2016). His major research interests cover a range of topics within aquatic ecosystems. These include community ecology, bio-monitoring and bio-assessment, the impacts of multiple stressors on aquatic ecosystems and integrated river basin management. He is an editor or boarding member for 6 journals and as a peer reviewer for > 50 journals and 6 international foundations. He supervised 7 PhD and 8 Master students, and has published 94 refereed journal articles, 2 book chapters.
