Senior Research Fellow
About
I am currently awaiting the reviews on my doctoral thesis titled ‘A Generalized Finite Volume Framework for Unified Multi-Region Hydraulic Modeling’ in the field of Hydraulic and Water Resources Engineering submitted at the Civil Engineering Department of Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. The locus of my research and academic interests comprises Hydraulic modeling, Hydrological Processes Modeling, Computational Fluid Dynamics and Geostatistical Modeling. I was a recipient of Postgraduate Scholarship approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) on the basis of my performance in Graduate Aptitude Test (GATE) in Engineering securing an all-India rank of 215, which earned me a Masters in Technology degree in Hydraulic and Water Resources Engineering from the Civil Engineering Department at Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. Previously, I pursued my Bachelors in Engineering from the Department of Civil Engineering at Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur (presently IIEST Shibpur). Shortly after my post-graduation, I taught undergraduate students at private engineering institutions in Kolkata, India for a span of five years.
