Expertise Fields/Interests:
I am currently pursuing my Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus in Construction Engineering and Management at Virginia Tech. There, I have developed my expertise in construction and construction operations management. During my undergraduate studies, I was part of different student chapters focused on several fields of the Civil Engineering industry: ASCE, ACI, and IAHR. This allowed me to further my knowledge in concrete, water resources, structural analysis, and geotech. I have worked as a BIM Modeler, Engineering Assistant, and Survey & Architectural Intern. I have also worked as a Teaching Assistant in Prestressed Concrete, Foundation Engineering, Soil & Rocks Mechanics, Statics and Topography.
Major Achievements:
The project I worked on, Buenaventura Green Towers, won third place in ConstruHack, the first hackathon for efficient and resilient housing construction in Latin America.
