Abstract: Climate change effects are expected to substantially raise the average sea level. It is widely assumed that this raise will have a severe adverse impact on saltwater intrusion processes in lower part. In this study, the impacts of sea level rise on saltwater intrusion in the lower part of the Thu Bon river were considered by apply MIKE 11 model in the context of climate change. This research shown that saltwater intrusion boundary will be increased 0.8, 1.6 and 2.9km under climate change scenario B2 in 2020,2050 and 2100, respectively. It will make a negative impact on ecology system in the lower Thu Bon river basin.
