Abstract: Prediction of oil slick motion and distribution of oil droplet concentrations are required for short term contingency planning and long term environmental impact assessment study. This paper presents the development and application of 2-D oil trajectory model and 3-D oil fate model for simulating the surface movement of oil slick and the distribution of oil droplet concentration in the water column for the case of Singapore coastal waters.
