Abstract: This paper studies the velocity and temperature distributions of turbulent plane jet interacting with the opposite nonlinear water waves. Based on the experiment by Hwung et al. (1981), it nonlinear wave is considered as an external force and substitutes into the momentum equations. By the momentum conservation of jet flow and waves, the interaction of waves- jet flow is theoretical analyzed. The influences due to the nonlinear water wave can be described. Moreover, the velocity distribution of the top-hat form near jet can also be interpreted from the obtained analytical solution.
