Abstract: The term ‘river health’, applied to the assessment of river condition, which plays an important role in the field of ecology and environment science in recent years. The environmental flow is the most important part of river health. But these years water structures brings not only enormous economic and social benefits but also caused some negative impact in river ecosystem at the same time. This paper discusses the methods for environmental flow with impact of water structures, which are classified into hydrological method, hydraulic method, hydrological biological analysis method, habitat simulation method, integrated method, environmental function method and other methods. By using these methods, the ecological flow with the impact of water structures is computed and the change of the ecological flow was compared before and after construction. With the analysis of advantages and disadvantages of water structure and the result of environmental flow, measures to optimize the time and region disposition of water resources should be pointed out in the future.
