Abstract: The study on the overall steady of hydraulic hoist which works in pushing state is carried out, By analytical calculation, three-dimensional finite element method and other method, the analysis of deflection and critical load about the overall hydraulic hoist under pushing state have been carried out. On the basis of comparison of calculation result and verification testing about engineering hydraulic hoist with the same calculation parameters of the mathematical model, the mathematical model has better calculation accuracy than ever. The variation regularity about deflection and critical load is given, which mainly has parameters including fulcrum position, gap between the cylinder and the piston rod, arrangement type, etc. And formula which been given in this paper for overall steady checking of hydraulic hoist is different from the commonly used Euler's formula. On the whole, the results in theory and practice would be helpful in the analysis of overall steady checking of hydraulic hoist used in water conservancy and hydropower project.
