Abstract: The cyber-management of water resources and source watersheds is an emerging prospect stemming from cyberinfrastructure-based advancements in science and engineering. It is a prospect motivated by the pressing needs for sustainable water resources. Development and implementation of cyber-management requires extensive multidisciplinary effort involving several institutions of research and education. This paper discusses a current international, partnering initiative that brings together complementary expertise and resources from six European, Asian and American water-related institutes to enable through research, education and knowledge transfer advancements in the cyber-management of water resources.
