Abstract: The paper, summing up the main experience of operation of desilting basins in Shandong Province in the lower reaches of the Yellow River in China, puts forward a new model for determining the optimal rehabilitated soil texture of the desilting basin upland for cultivation in the Yellow River irrigated area. It designed 5 kinds of soil texture and 10 practices. After 4 year canonical crop cultivation test for obtainment of the crop yields and output values, 3 kinds of soil texture are selected as the optimum by the way of multifactorial and multilayered fuzzy comprehensive judgment method.
